What our customers say

Happy Customers = Happy Bike Shop!

"Everyone Bikes is an amazing place with beautiful stuff and amazing staff. I wanted a new bike for my commute to work and Alex listened and helped me pick my lovely new Bobbin Bramble. It is so nice to go somewhere where you don't feel secondary or looked down upon for wanting to buy a drop-frame bike in a pretty colour (although they stock lots of other stuff too)."

"Amazing independent bike shop. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much of a problem. Very good events - informative and easy to follow. Fantastic range of bike kit, especially the polka dot tops! I'd recommend to anyone. No question or query is too big for this lovely, spacious shop."

"I have just bought a green bobbin bike from Everyone Bikes. I love my new bike - the concept of the shop is great. Their window displays are always eyecatching... It has been a joy shopping here... the staff are friendly and very helpful and it is great to support a local independent creative shop. Thanks Everyone Bikes!"

"I am the proud new owner of a lovely bike from the very brilliant 'Everyone Bikes' on Northcote Road! What a great shop. Great staff, all of whom I found to be really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Brilliant service. Just what you want from a local shop. I feel reassured to have bought from them as I'm confident they'll always be able to help me out if ever I have a problem or just a question."

"Coming here is like being a kid in a candy store as Americans would say. It is such a welcoming friendly store with great thought-out selection of products. It is great to have such a store in our neighbourhood and also a resource for advice and maintenance."

"Thanks so much to Alex and Luke, the miracle workers at Everyone Bikes for fixing my bike for next to nothing when the back wheel locked up on my way to work! I carried my bike to the nearest place, which just happened to be Everyone Bikes and although they couldn't do anything there and then, the bike was fixed and ready to collect the next day. Not only that; it no longer squeaks, the gear changes are smoother and it's in better shape than it's been since I bought it. Forget Halfords, go to Everyone Bikes!"

"Everyone Bikes is the example of how shops ought to be (and not just bike shops!)

After several failed attempts to gain advice and recommendations on which bike might be best suited to my needs, from chain shops and independents alike, I was frustrated with the lack help out there. It was over ten years since my last time in a saddle, and I was determined to get the best bike for my needs (fitness and commuting) and within my limited budget. Unfortunately, the vendors I approached before Everyone Bikes were not forthcoming in their assistance, promoting a bike's aesthetics over demonstrating that it was fit for my goals. Sadly, I walked out of several shops feeling lost, not getting my questions answered, and with the phrases 'and it looks good', 'this one also comes in white' and 'you could go for a man's frame'.

Almost at the point of giving up my search, I stumbled upon Everyone Bikes through Google; honestly, I was surprised that there was a female only shop, a little tentative, but decided to give them a go - which turned out to be a great decision!

Upon my arrival, I was made to feel welcome (despite the resonances of past negative experiences making me feel slightly anxious), and Alex, the chap who served me, was nothing but helpful. Rather than rushing me through the options, he listened to what I would use the bike for, what specifications I believed to be required and recommended me a bike from that. It wasn't the case of the hard sell, nor making me fit the bike, it was about finding the right bike for me.

Even after my purchase (with a good amount of kit to get me started from their vast selection) they have continued quality customer service with ongoing aftercare. Unfortunately, I had trouble with my bike computer, and they were so helpful in offering troubleshooting over email. When I went in, Alex checked the computer, and replaced it free of charge.

This level of customer service, I cannot stress enough, is so scarce these days, and it is nothing but refreshing to feel like a person when you walk into a shop, rather than 'just another customer'.

Thank you to all those at Everyone Bikes - I will be back for one (or more) of your training courses!"

"Kudos to that new bike shop on Northcote Road... I went in there to find out about bike seats for my 7 month old and they were really helpful and came up with just the thing. No hard sell and very reasonably priced too. Will head back there in May with hubby to get it fitted so that he can drop the little one off at Nursery in the mornings before he cycles off to work. Lovely shop too, excellent customer service - highly recommend."

"I attended a family bike maintenance course at Everyone bikes on Northcote Road this Saturday morning with my nearly 13-year-old son, Freddy. Freddy has been cycling to school for the last few months and I was hoping he would pick up a few tips about looking after his bike.

It was just the two of us and Luke soon ran through the basics on Freddy's bike and before I knew it had him taking the wheels off and changing brake pads. He also showed us how best to oil the chain, adjust the saddle and handle bars, check the brakes and pump up the tyres. I came away with some easy common sense tips on keeping my bike in good running order. But Luke's big success was in engaging Freddy and giving him the confidence to have a go at the bigger jobs, as well as showing him how to keep his bike safe and roadworthy.

Thank you!"

"My wife hasn't ridden her bike since last summer. I stopped by yesterday and they let me borrow their air pump to pump up her tires and they even had a spare part that i would have never found on my own. This is a very helpful and knowledgeable group of people in this great local neighborhood shop."

"A great independent bicycle shop who are helpful and very informative for people like me who don't know much about bikes. This shop has a fantastic range of trendy helmets, cool cycling clothes and the bicycles range from sporty to vintage in style. If you're into good design then I would highly recommend this bike shop!"

"Hi there, I'm a local commuter cyclist in Battersea and strolled past your shop on Saturday. Anyway, I just wanted to drop you guys a line and let you know that I thought your shop looked absolutely beautiful! That Bobbin you have in the window... gorgeous. I must pop in soon - I'm excited to see what else you have. :)

Keep up the great work!"

"I bought a bike from Everyone Bikes on Northcote Road and was very impressed with how friendly, helpful and non-pushy they were. They let you take the bikes out to test and say they have a female focus so are not as intimidating as your average bike shop if you don't know much about bikes. They have a workshop for repairs and servicing and sell lots of accessories. I'm not connected with them in any way I hasten to add - just a satisfied customer."

"VERY GOOD. This is a great friendly little bike shop in Battersea, especially for women! As a female cyclist I find it difficult to get clothes and accessories that fit but Alex found me some fab gloves and a comfy waterproof Endura jacket! Definitely bringing my Hybrid in for a service soon. Also love the hanging ceiling plants, cute little touch."

"I'm posting to give a big hurrah to the new bike shop on Northcote Rd (near The Bolingbroke) whose staff are very friendly and helpful."

"After getting tired of getting sweaty cycling in waterproofs, I went to Everyone Bikes looking for some proper cycling clothes that would keep the rain out but not overheat. Alex listened to my requirements, recommended me an Endura jacket that met them and ordered it in the right size for me to collect.

I'm over the moon with my new jacket, and having someone in the shop to talk to about breathability and sizing definitely gives you something you don't get buying online. The shop staff are friendly, helpful and clearly passionate about cycling."
